Tarot - Reflections (2016)

The second album from this band from Australia.

The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, organ, synths and vocals.

This band has so far released three albums and they are all up for reviews this month. The review of their 2015 debut album The Warrior's Spell was posted earlier this month.

Their debut album was a decent enough retro hard rock and psych rock album.

This album, the follow up album, follows more in the same vein. Take some psych rock, add in some folk rock and some early 1970s hard rock and you get the drift.

There is some pretty flat, atonal female vocals on this thirty-five minutes long/short album. The vocals is very much in the occult rock vein.

The music is much more melodic than hard and heavy. It is almost soft at times.

The songs are pretty decent throughout.

I am still not won over by this band but will review their newest album, released last year, sometimes later this month.
