Solid Ground - Open Silence (2013)

The one and only album from this band from Montenegro.

The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, organ, keyboards, trumpet and vocals.

Montenegro is a country in the Adriatic Sea who has not produced many progressive rock bands. When they were a part of Yugoslavia, there were some bands whose members came from Montenegro. But this is the first new band I can remember coming from Montenegro.

The band's take on progressive rock is rooted in the 1970s hard rock and progressive rock scene. They have taken five percentage from most known bands from that period.

This mishmash and original take on the history makes it difficult to list any references when it comes to other bands.

The music is both hard rocking and pretty folk rocking too.

The trumpet add some madness to this album and a lot of colours too.

The vocals are pretty good and so is the music.

This is very much a likeable album where the quality is good throughout.

Check it out.
