The third album from this band from UK.
The band is a sextet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, electric piano, synths, autoharp, trumpet, flugelhorn, cornet, trombone, flute and vocals.
They had help from some guest musicians who did guitars, flugelhorn, trumpet, spoken words and vocals.
This is the third album from this band but I have yet to sample their first two albums.
The band has been described as a Canterbury prog band. Hence, I got this album.
Canterbury prog is not really what comes out of my speakers. Take brass rock, add some funk pop and some 1970s stadium rock too. In this landscape is where you find this album.
The songs are not really convincing either and the songs are overwhelmed by a flood of woodwinds.
The quality is decent enough but this band and album is not really for me.
