Yobrepus - Mycelium Days (2020)

The second album from this band from Norway.

The band is a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, synths and vocals.

I was quite impressed by their new album A Rhizome Revolution Part 1, released and reviewed one month ago. Hence, I wanted to check out their first two albums too. I only found Mycelium Days, though.

Their music is a mix of Radiohead, Marillion and Airbag. There is also some hints of A-ha and King Crimson too.

The music is pretty melancholic and softly spoken throughout.

The twenty-two minutes long title track is pretty progressive before the remaining tracks takes us down and into solid art-rock territory.

The music is good throughout this three quarters of an hour long album. The band is talented and they proved that on their new album, reviewed last month.

Check out this band and album.
