The debut album from this band from Liverpool, Great Britain.
This is a duo and the lineup is guitars, bass, electronics and vocals.
This album was pushed to me as a progressive rock album..... I quite like the art-work and wanted to include it in this blog, making it more arty/an art gallery.
It is one of the many art-rock albums who are dipping into both indie rock and post-rock. It also has some neo-prog influences. A progressive rock album ? Not in a strict sense.
The music is melodic and fresh. The post-rock influences shines through here. The music is not a million miles away from Anathema.
In short, Anathema fans must check out this Bandcamp album. Both bands are from Liverpool, btw.
The music is not very complex. The vocals is good and there are some good details here.
The result is fifty-five minutes of decent to good music. Music that will find a lot of friends if the band manages to get this album known and well marketed in an overcrowded marketplace.
