The debut album from this Norwegian band.
The band is a trio with a lineup of drums, bass, organ, Moog and clavinet.
This trio consist of the Narum family. It is a family project and their tribute to the Norwegian painter Peder Balke who lived between 1804 and 1887.
The music is instrumental.
The music is also symphonic prog. References are Camel and some more eclectic, symphonic prog bands.
The music is both eclectic and melodic. Well, the melodic parts interchanges with the eclectic parts.
The music is both dynamic and muscular. It is not so classical music based. It is not based on classical music at all, to correct myself.
These forty minutes, and Peder Balke's artworks, has a lot to offer.
Quality wise, the music is between decent and good. This is an album bound to get a cult status sooner or later.
