The 20th album from this band from Norway.
The band was a quartet here with a lineup of percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and samples.
This is the soundtrack for a theatre production for Trondelag Theater in Trondheim, Norway. It had a seven week long run and the band was playing the music live every night. This album also comes with a DVD with the full production and some background scenes.
The music is very different from the normal fare from this band. It is still well within the DNA profile of this band as it explores the more experimental part of this band.
The label "chamber RIO/avant-garde music" is the best label here.
The music is very minimalistic and does indeed sounds like a soundtrack.
This album is a weird album in the Motorpsycho discography and totally different from the rest of their albums. The music on this forty-five minutes long album is weirdly enough pretty melodic and engaging.
This is indeed a decent album but not the first Motorpsycho album I would get if I did not know this band. Still... it is well worth checking out.
