The band is a quintet with a lineup of bass, drums, guitars, percussion, keyboards and vocals.
A guest helped out with strings on one song.
I quite liked their debut album and was looking forward to give this, their second album my attention.
This band is fronted by a female vocalist and their music is somewhere between prog metal, heavy prog and neo-prog.
Powerful prog is probably the best label.
There are some hints of goth here too.
The music is big, bold and powerful with lots of female and male vocals. There is also a lot of guitars cascades and walls.
Subtle is not a word I would use on the music on this album.
The quality is somewhere between decent and good. I am not won over by this album.
Nevertheless, this is a good band and well worth checking out.
