Simon Says - Tardigrade (2008)

The third and final album from this band from Sweden.

The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards, vocoder and vocals on this album.

This band is a semi-classic band in the Swedish symphonic prog scene. Their three albums are all regarded as important albums in this scene.

Tardigrade takes us through a seventy-five long journey in a landscape surrounde by the likes of Kaipa, Yes, Genesis and in particular..... The Flower Kings.

The album has a mix of short songs, ten minutes long epics and one half an hour long epic. This album is best, and must be, when listened to from the first tone to the final tone. It is one piece of music, seventy-five minutes long.

The sound is great and the vocals is very good.

The best piece of music this band has ever written, Brother Where You Bound, is this half an hour long epic and it is simply great. The rest of the album is good to very good.

This is indeed a very good album and one fans of symphonic prog should include in their collection.

3.5 points
