The second album from this band from Germany.
The band is a trio with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitar, sitar, synths and mellotron.
This band from Leipzig album debuted in 2019 and then took a long break. Perhaps a pandemic break. The band then returned with this Bandcamp album and LP.
The music is, as most people would have guessed by now, a mix of kraut, acid and space rock.
There is a lot of half-acoustic guitars in their music and that gives this album a pretty good organic feel. This also gives the music a great deal of an acid rock feel. Even some psych rock feel.
Most of this forty-five minutes long album takes place somewhere in space. Not in outer space, but still in a space rock setting.
The music is cleverly crafted and groovy at the same time. There is a lot of melodic sensibility in the music too.
The synths and mellotron is mainly backing up the guitars. A wall of bass and drums is underpinning the grooves and the music.
The result is a good album and one to check out if kraut and space rock floats your boat.
