The second release from this band from Norway.
The band is a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.
This is a twenty-five minutes long EP the band has sent me and it is both the follow up to last year's self-titled debut album and a taster of a new album to be released later this year.
I gave their debut album a very good rating as it has a good blend of psych rock, hard rock and progressive rock. This band is in short one of the better new bands from the Norwegian prog scene.
We get three pieces of music here. Or songs if you prefer to call them. The shortest one is just over seven minutes long and the longest song clocks in at just over nine minutes.
The band continues with their blend of psych rock, progressive rock and 1970s hard rock. There are also some good references to the godfathers of Norwegian weirdo eclectic rock... Minas Tirith.
The music is complex, quirky, eclectic and pretty hard. The music is pretty similar to the music on their debut album as the music has this retro-early 1970s feel and ambience.
The vocals is very good and the band does a great job on these three good pieces of music/songs.
This EP is not as good as their debut album but it is still a good EP and one to check out. Get their debut album too if you have yet to sample that album.
I am really looking forward to their second album.
