The second album from this band from USA.
The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.
I will review their seven albums this fall. My review of the debut album was published last month. A decent enough album but nothing more than that.
The basis in their music is still stoner rock. But the band has also incorporated some pretty gentle progressive rock in this album to make some contrasts, light and darkness.
The sound is still stoner'ish muddy and that is how stoner rock sounds and should sound. The vocals is also pretty dark.
There is still a lot of melodies here and the band's soundscape is pretty expansive.
The result is a fifty minutes long album and a good album too.
I do understand why this band has such a big following. There is something special about them.
