He got help from some guests who added percussion, cello, drums, flute and guitars.
Rick Miller has settled into his corner of the progressive rock, art rock and adult rock scene.
The music is a bit ambient rock with some americana and lots of melancholy.
There is no fireworks in his music in other words.
It feels like Rick has been repeating himself on the last 2-3 albums. There is no excitement here.
The songs are decent to good. But there is nothing else here.
A bit surprises and a detour from the safe and well trodden path would have benefited this album.
