The third album from this band from USA.
The band is a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards, narration and vocals.
Three guests added guitars, violins and vocals.
This is their comeback album after a far too long break.... eight years or so. This band now has members from some well known bands. It is indeed some sort of a supergroup.
The music here is a blend of progressive folk rock and symphonic prog. There are also some psych rock influences in their music.
The vocals is a mix of female and male vocals. There is a lot of vocals on this album. The mix between the keyboards and the guitars are very good.
The music is both warm and organic too.
The overall quality of the music on this one hour long album is very good with a lot of very good details. It is obvious that the members and the writers of the songs here are vastly experienced. The music still sounds fresh and very much modern.
Check out this album if both folk and symphonic prog is your thing.
