Tea Party. The - Seven Circles (2004)

The seventh album from this band from Canada.

The band is a trio with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.

A female vocalist and a string ensemble is prominent guests on this album.

This band started out in the same vein as Rush. As a hard blues and hard rock band, in other words.

The band evolved during the follow up albums and we have now arrived at their seventh album.

The music on this album is a mix of hard rock, grunge and teenybopper power pop.

The songs are catchy and pretty much designed around a young audience. Ditto for the rather good vocals.

The sound is pretty good despite of the rather dubious quality of the songs.

This is by far their least good album and a disappointment. I hope the next two albums is better than this one.
