Hawkwind - Stories from Time and Space (2024)

The 35th album from this band from Great Britain.

The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.

A saxophone player added his saxophone on one track.

Dave Brock has been keeping Hawkwind going since the early 1970s. They are one of the veterans in the scene and the godfathers of the space rock genre.

The music on this one hour long album is a mix of psych rock and some neo-classical interludes. The music is more symphonic prog influenced than before.

The music is therefore pretty remote from the Hawkwind we know from the last century.

There are only some sporadic good pieces of music here.

The again, this is not a bad album and it is far from being their worst album. It is the old-age Hawkwind and a band nearing the end of it's natural life.

Check out this album and enjoy it as the symphonic prog influenced album it is.
