Finally George did the percussion, bass, guitars, violins, keyboards and vocals here.
A dozen of guests added drums, percussion, guitars, strings, flugel horn, piano, organ and vocals.
This is so far the last album from Georg Hahn, also known as Finally George.
The 2018 debut album Life Is A Killer was a mix of some very melodic psych rock and neo-prog. The music was like Pink Floyd at their most melodic.
Georg Hahn returned three years later with the fifty minutes long Icy Skies.
We get the same genre and same kind of fare. The music is slightly more epic and it feels like Georg has grown in confidence. There are indeed some interesting details and melodies on this album.
There is a lot of good things to be said about this album. I therefore hope we will hear more from Georg as Finally George in the future.
