The 11th album from this band from Ukraine.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
Drudkh was sold to me as a folk rock black metal band. Maybe that was a correct label on some of their albums.
This is not the label I would put on this album. The music is epic, bold and slightly melodic black metal.
The music is very epic and almost symphonic. It still comes with some screaming black metal vocals. Hence, the vocals will scare off most people.
The vocals fits the music on this album and they are perfect.
The quality of the music is decent to good throughout this album. I am not a big fan of black metal. But Drudkh has become my favourite black metal band based on this and previous albums. Check out this band.
