Sangre De Muerdago - Noite (2018)

The fouth album from this band from Spain.

The band was a one-man-band with Pablo Ursusson doing the classical guitars, drum, shaker, hurdy gurdy and vocals.

Three guests added shaker, bodhran, flute, viola, harps, crickets and vocals.

Pablo Ursusson has been exploring Galician folk music and language on the Sangre.. albums. Not much of the music is rock music, if anything.

Noite, a surprisingly short album title for Pablo who has given other albums faaar longer album titles, is a pretty lush folk music album with lots of vocal and instruments harmonies. The music is far more lush than the album title.

The mood is melancholic and sad.

The result is a fifty minutes long album with some decent and some good pieces of music. It is an album well worth checking out if folk music and folk rock floats your boat.
