The band was a sextet on this album with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, organ, piano, keyboards, synths and vocals.
The band had got help from some guests who provided piano, mellotron and vocals.
Le Orme was one of the leading bands in the RPI scene in the 1970s. They has still released some albums up to this year. Some of these albums has been classical music versions of their songs.
...And Friends is three CDs and well over two hours of unreleased leftovers from their many studio sessions plus their take on other bands songs.
It is hard to label this as a full worthy studio album from this band. Is is more a leftover compilation album.
The music is decent to good though. The band does their best on this album which is very likely the last ever studio album from this band.
