Sangre De Muerdago - O Vento que Lambe as minas Feridas (2023)

The sixth and so far last album from this band from Spain.

The band was a trio with a lineup of square drum, bells, hurdy-gurdy, guitars, viola, key harp, flute and vocals.

The band is back again with their so far latest album. I both hope and believe it will not be their final album. This band is indeed a nice, valuable addition to the music world.

Acid folk rock from the Galicia region of Spain is what we get here again.

Compared to the rather lush and colourful Xuntas album from 2020, the band owner and composer Pablo Ursusson has scaled back on the resources and employed fewer instruments. The music is also a bit more vocals and songs orientated than before.

There are more traditional verse-chorus-verse songs here. This with some very good vocals too.

The songs are pretty good though and folk music/rock fans will find a lot to be pleased about here. This is indeed a decent to good album from this band and one to check out.
