Motorpsycho - Trust Us (1998)

The seventh album from this band from Norway.

The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, sitar, marimba, mandolin, glockenspiel, piano, organ, moog, mellotron and vocals.

A trio of guests added saw, electronics, violin, woodwinds, theremin, piano and antlers.

The band returned again and this time with a double CD and eighty minutes worth of music.

The music is based on psych rock and garage rock. It has got some rock'n'roll, raga rock and space rock influences too.

The result is another album in the Motorpsycho universe. A universe I am trying to get familiar with. This band is truly unique and many miles outside my comfort zone. And I am reviewing all their albums this year....

The music is pretty hard at times and mostly full on with some fitting vocals.

The result is esoteric but still good. This album is a good insight into their world and worth checking out.
