The 13th album from this band from Canada.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.
They band was helped by two guests who provided oud and throat singing.
Jason Newsted has now left the band and been replaced by another bass player.
Voivod is an unique band who has a pretty unique take on metal, psych and prog rock.
The key on this album is speed. The music is ultra-fast and based on speed metal. Voivod started out as a speed metal band and that is obvious here. The vocals is in that vein too.
There is a lot of psych rock here too.
This mix sometimes and sometimes does not work on this album. This is not one of their better albums as it has too many flaws.
