The cooperation between these two artists from England and Italy.
Tim Bowness did the vocals while Giancarlo Erra did the keyboards and guitars.
They got help from numerous guests who added drums, bass, cello, guitars, woodwinds, synths, electric piano and vocals.
Among the guests, we find Peter Hammil, Steven Wilson, Robert Fripp, Colin Edward and many other household names.
This album is a rework and expanded version of their 2011 album Warm Winter. An album that has flown well below my radar.
The music ins Memories of Machines is a mix of ambient psych rock and progressive rock. The music also has a lot of post-rock sensitivities.
The music is melancholic and Tim Bowness vocals is on the top of the music. They are good too.
The quality is good throughout this album and this is one of the better albums from last year.
Check it out.
