The second album from this band from USA.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.
I was not too impressed by their 2005 debut album Juturna. Post-hardcore indie rock, it is.
The band has branched out a bit on On Letting Go, thankfully.
Anthony Green's light vocals are a bit of an acquired taste. I first thought the vocalist was a female vocalist. But no..... The vocals are pretty decent after I found out that these vocals are indeed male vocals.
The band has added a lot of art-rock and some jazz to their post-hardcore induced indie rock. The music is pretty complex and the rhythms and the changes of themes are pretty eclectic.
This album is an improvement on the debut album. I have yet to be convinced, though...
