The one and only album from this British band.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
This short-lived band was an all-female band and one of the very few of them in that era. I can only remember Runaways from USA.
Mother Superior had no success though as they were gigging third rate concert venues. This album was released on a small sub label of Polydor....... in Sweden ! A country the band had no connections with whatsoever. But the result was that the band played some gigs over in Sweden too. No success followed. The band broke up.
The music is 1970s hard rock and rock. There is some proggish elements and enough for me to review this very obscure album.
The title track is their version of The Beatles standard Lady Madonna. The cover version is OK but not impressive.
This album is a rather forgettable album which just about scrape into a decent rating.
This album is rightly very obscure and will forever remain so.
