Fermáta - Huascaran (1977)

The third album from this band from Slovakia.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, organ, synth, guitars and piano.

Two guests provided cello and violin.

This band really impressed me on their two first albums and I duly rated the band as one of the best bands from the other side of the iron curtain.

The iron curtain was in the bad old days and their music is now available to us all.

The band continues down the fusion road at full speed.

Most of the music on this album is very intense with a lot of guitars and organs. The Soft Machine springs to mind on a lot of their music.

There is also a lot of prog in their music too. Symphonic prog.

The result is another good album from this band and I am becoming a fan.... or rather; an admirer of this band.
