The second and final album from this band from Great Britain.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, organ, piano, synths and vocals.
Four guests added backing vocals.
I was not impressed by their 2018 album Iguana Salad. So I had no expectations to the follow up album. A follow up album released five years later through their Bandcamp website.
The music is again indie rock.
Take indie rock, add in some Canterbury prog, some elegant pop, funk, jazz and post-punk.
The result would then be pretty similar to this fifty minutes long album.
There are not many instruments in their sound and music. The music is both melodic and quirky. There are some dissonant post-punk here too. The music is pretty much influenced by jazz and funk throughout this album.
The vocals and the half-acoustic guitars is good.
The music is decent enough and should be of interest to both indie rock and Canterbury prog fans. Check it out.
