The 12th album from this band from Great Britain.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of bass, guitars, violin, keyboards and vocals.
A guest added drums and percussion.
The band returns again from the disappointing experiment that was the 2011 album Evinta.
Evinta was a one-off album.... thankfully.
A Map Of All Our Failures is a return to the good old gloomy My Dying Bride.
The band has found their formula and it is a formula that works. It has given them many followers and a lot of admirers.
The music here is dark, doomy, gloomy and slightly gothic.
There is no great pieces of music here. Nevertheless, the music is always good. It is also engaging.
This is indeed a good album and a return to form.
