The fourth album from this band from France.
The band is a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, piano, organ, keyboards and vocals.
The band returned again one year after their comeback album Paint The Sky as a settled, proper band. Damien Wilson was again the vocalist on this album.
The band has found their feet after the two pretty bad first albums and the comeback ten years later.
The band is now somewere in the area between hard prog, progressive metal and art-rock.
Damian Wilson's old band Threshold is a good reference. Lalu's music is more complex and more... French though. A bit more pastoral.
The pieces of music has got some air to breathe too. The combination of ambience and hard prog is very good.
The music sounds both eclectic and very intelligent. There is a lot of very interesting details around here.
The result is one hour of very good music and an album that has put Lalu on the map. Check out this album.
