Telegraph Avenue - Vol 2 (1975)

The second and final album from this band from Peru.

The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.

This is the final sign of life from this band before the military junta took over Peru and banned rock music for a while. It was recorded despite of numerous problems during the recording session.

It is hard to really publish an honest review in 2024 as I have all the sympathies in the world for the musicians in this band. Musicians who experienced some pretty extreme hardship before, under and after the recording of this album.

The music is a mix of rock and psych rock. It is pretty hard rocking too.

The music was pretty obsolete anno 1975 and 2024. The music is basically late 1960s with a poor sound.

There is still a lot of evidence here that the band were a good band. Some of the songs are pretty decent.

This is still not an album I would recommend. It is what it is.... a snapshot of Peru from those days.
