The sixth album from this band from Sweden.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.
This is their third album for Aftermath Music and one the label promoted well. That includes some promotion material to myself. My copy also camed with a bonus album named The Pentagram which included some avant-garde soundbites. I will ignore that album in this review.
The band was starting to slow down their onslaughts of death metal. The music became more doom metal orientated.
The music is mainly classic death metal with some pretty good melodic guitars solos included.
The guitars are pretty good here. The death metal is pretty good too. The music is pretty brutal, but also controlled and a bit restained.
The result is an album somewhere between decent and good. It is an album well worth checking out if death metal is your thing.
