The fourth album from this band from France.
The band is a sextet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, piano, keyboards and vocals.
Some guests added drums, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
Nine Skies has since their 2017 debut album developed into a very good neo-prog and art-rock band. This despite of the tragig passing of one of their leading lights, mr Eric Bouillette after the release of their last album.
The band has continued on though and the new album has been out for some weeks, converting more and more prog fans to their cause.
The music on this album is indeed elegant, melodic neo-prog with some art-rock influences.
The music is also complex enough to get the listener's attention for the full one hour of music.
The vocals are good and the musicians does a good job. There is no great songs here. Nevertheless, this album is cementing their status as perhaps the finest French band in today's melodic prog rock scene.
