King's X - Please Come Home...Mr. Bulbous (2000)

The eight album from this band from USA.

The band was a trio on this album with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.

The band continued down the road to no fame or commercial success. They were on Metal Blade, the home of so many death metal bands. Bands like Cannibal Corpse.

King's X music could not be more different than the music of the 'Corpse. Hence, nobody did not know how to grapple with this band. That continues to this day and I do not have the answers here.

It did not help that King's X then delivered their, by far, weakest album in this album.

The expression/word "lacklustre" is the one that best describes this album.

The album suffers from the lack of any energy, vitality and good songs. It also suffers from the lack of any hope. It sounds like the band had given up the ghost by now.

None of the songs are any good. They are decent enough but not good.

Sad, sad, sad.
