The fourth album from this band from Great Britain.
The band is a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, violins, keyboards and vocals.
The band had help from a handful of guests who provided moog, keyboards, violin and horns on selected tracks.
I do not know their three previous albums who was released around five to ten years ago. The band plays music I normally tend to shy away from. Progressive metal in other words.
The band has released all their albums through Bandcamp and is not listed in ProgArchives. That is also a reason why I am unfamiliar to this band. Nevertheless, I got a copy of this album.
Progressive metal with some art-rock, folk rock, gothic rock and Broadway musicals influences is what we get here. Almost one and a half hour of it, too.
The vocals is a mix of male and female vocals. Most of it is musicals like vocals and pretty much in the rock opera vein. Rock opera is something I suspect this album is.
The result is a good album who deserve some more attention. Check it out.
