The third album from this band from France.
The band is a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, synths and vocals.
The band album debuted back in 1996 with the Genese album and their second album was released back in 2005.
There are still two members from the quartet who released the debut album. That is pretty impressive.
The music is also pretty true to their 1990s roots. The seventy-two minutes long The Runaway is pretty heavy influenced by Marillion, the Fish era. Add some Ange, Pendragon and Mona Lisa influences too.
The music is neo-prog and it has some good musicianship too. The vocals on the other hand..... Well, that is the band's weakest point. The vocals is very uneven. At best, it is very good. At it's worst, it is almost cringeworthy bad.
The quality of the neo-prog here are good throughout and this is a good album indeed. It is an album well worth checking out.
