JB Fairfield - Parts of Life (2025)

The sixth album from this band from Australia.

JB Fairfield is the one-man-band run by Jeff Brunne who plays all the keyboards, guitars, electronics and does the vocals too.

I have earlier reviewed his first four albums. They are decent enough albums with some pieces of music with a nice blend of psych rock, Pink Floyd, and art-rock as in Marillion.

I have forgotten about his fifth album and will get back to that one sometimes later.

Jeff continues down the same road as before. His vocals is a bit special but still good and endearing.

The music is not very technical but the songs are melodic and reminds me a lot about the music from the Dutch band Us. These two bands are pretty similar and almost like twins.

The music on this almost one hour long album is decent to good throughout.

Those of you into melodic prog should check out JB Fairfield and his digital albums.
