The second album from this band from Germany.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and electronics.
They had help from some friends who added voices.
Long Distance Calling has established themselves as one of the better post-rock bands in the scene.
Avoid The Light is almost one hour full of post metal and post rock. The album starts with some really hard post metal with some stoner influences and continues down the same path.
There is not much light on this album.
There is some vocals at the middle of this album and the album becomes a bit softer at the end.
The result is somewhere between decent and good.
I still got some more of their albums to review and I am looking forward to that.
