The third album from this band from USA.
The band is a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, banjo, synths, organ, piano and vocals.
The band had help from numerous guests who provided strings and woodwinds.
The band returned again with their brand of progressive rock.
This means US progressive rock with references to The Mars Volta and Coheed & Cambria.
That also means theatrical progressive rock with a lot of references to the likes of Ange.
The vocals are really good and that is a major positive for this album. Vocals this type of theatrical progressive rock really depends on.
The sound is pretty much acoustic through and through with the strings and the woodwinds.
That makes an interesting album indeed.
It also makes a good album and one who adds a lot of colours to the scene. Something this band does.
Check out this album.
