The second album from this band from USA.
The band is a sextet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
The band consists of students from the leading music school Berklee College, their east-coast branch in Boston.
The band has so far released two albums and I reviewed their debut album some days ago. A good album.
The band is female vocals fronted and the vocals is both good and everywhere.
The band's music has evolved a lot since their debut album. They have indeed expanded their horizons on this album.
In addition to the mix of progressive metal, fusion and alternative rock from their debut album, some djent and extreme metal has also been added. There is also some symphonic prog here too.
The music is very complex throughout. The band is pushing through a lot of different ideas at the same time. A lot of themes and ideas throughout these fifty minutes
The result is eclectic progressive metal. It is Mars Volta territory and that much more than Dream Theater territory. The music is that fiendish non-melodic.
The result is still a good album and one to check out.
