Fractal Rock - Fractals and Filigree (2010)

The one and only album from this band from USA.

The band was an eight piece big band with a lineup of percussion, drums, bass, guitars, violin, keyboards, saxophone and vocals.

This band appeared and then disappeared quite soon afterwards. Which leads me to believe this was some friends who went into studio to record and release whatever entered their minds.

That explains the variety of genres on this album.

Genres who goes from blues, psych, Broadway style pop, power pop, post-punk and progressive rock.

The music is fronted by some not so good female vocals. There is a bold and do-not-care sound and attitude in this album too.

The quality is half-decent throughout and it proves that this album is an obscure album for a good reason.
