The second album from this German band.
The band is the brainchild of the drummer Jens Lueck who also contributes with keyboards, guitars, bass and vocals.
He has got help from eight other musicians who added guitars, cello, violin, viola, recorder and vocals. Both male and female vocals.
This is another German one-man progressive rock project.
I have yet to get the debut album. An album I guess I should really get, based on this album.
Single Celled Organism gives us one hour full of Pink Floyd influenced neo-prog.
The music is really melodic and it has some female vocals at the end. The male vocals are really good and so is the other musicians.
There is a lot of soaring guitars and guitar solos here. The references to Pink Floyd comes thick and fast. The references to German neo-prog also comes thick and fast. This is indeed a German neo-prog band/project and album.
The overall quality is very good with some very good melodies and details. I really recommend this album and will keep an eye on this band.
