The debut album from this band from Canada.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
Some guest helped out on vocals, woodwinds and strings.
This band is from Montreal in the French speaking part of Canada. Hence the French vocals and lyrics.
They have so far released five albums and they are all up for review this spring and summer in this blog.
The music on this album is what fits into the Eclectic Prog genre.
Take some late 1960s psych and hippie music, add Ange like symphonic prog and then add some Harmonium like folk rock. On the top of that, add avant-garde folk rock and a lot of acid folk.
The vocals is a mix of male and female vocals. The music is pretty pastoral and pedestrian.
The music is weird and eclectic, to say at least.
The quality is not really there.... This is not a good album.
The music is decent enough and I am looking forward to listen to their four other albums due to this band being pretty weird.
