Landmarq - Infinity Parade (1993)

The second album from this band from Great Britain.

The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, piano, synths and vocals.

Some guests added orchestra instruments and vocals.

This band was one of the first neo-prog bands ever and eveloped from Quasar who released some albums. See my reviews of their albums.

Landmarq's debut album was a pretty good album. See my review from earlier this year.

The debut album had a thin, 1980s like sound. That was a weakness of that album.

Infinity Parade sees the band return with a much more beefed up and contemporary sound. The band still sounds a bit like Genesis. The music is much more complex though and Damian Wilson, one of Great Britains best prog vocalists, deliver some very good vocals on this one hour long album.

The result is a good album and one to check out if neo-prog floats your boat.
