The band was a trio on this album with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, piano, harmonica and vocals.
This band is one of the bigger US band in the history of rock'n'roll and popular music. They released thirteen albums and is still touring. I got these thirteen albums and will review them this winter and the forthcoming summer.
The band is listed as heavy metal... Well, that is not the case here. Take some rhythm'n'blues, mix it with soul, mix it with some hard rock and some country'n'western.
The music is pretty hard and must have been very hard back in those days. The music is through essentially party music with lots of life and joy.
This album became a minor hit and I can understand why. There is a lot of nice stuff on this decent enough album.
