The sixth album from this band from Norway.
The band is a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, mellotron, organ and vocals.
The band has been blending stoner rock, heavy metal and progressive rock.
I was not too impressed by their previous album Funeral Tango For Gods And Men. That was released two years ago.
It seems like the band kind of share that view as they have returned to the recipe they used on their fourth album, the 2020 album Astro Tongue In The Electric Garden.
The music is more mellow and far more progressive than heavy metal and stoner rock influenced. There is also a lot of psych rock in their music.
The balance between prog, psych, stoner and heavy metal is very good here.
The organ, mellotron and the vocals is great on this album. There is a lot of very interesting details and riffs here too. The overall quality of the music is very good.
The result is a very good album indeed.
