Earth Flight - Blue Hour Confessions (2011)

The second album from this band from Germany.

The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars and vocals.

This band has so far released three albums and they debuted back in 2007. Their most resent album was in 2018. Hence... this band may have been disbanded.

Their music is what they have called atmospheric rock. Discogs says post-rock.

Both labels are not entirely precise although the band's own words are pretty precise.

Take a bit of Anathema, a bit Katatonia, Radiohead and Coldplay. Add some post-rock and shoegaze. The final bit is melancholic German neo-prog. RPWL is a good reference.

The music on this three quarters of an hour long album has some good guitars and vocals. The sound is good too.

Not all the songs are good. But there is enough here to make me wonder if I should get the rest of their albums too. This album is not bad at all.
