McOil - All Our Hopes (1979)

The one and only album from this band from Germany.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.

Nothing is known about this band and album. An album released as a private pressing and re-released on CD by the German re-releases label Garden Of Delights.

The music on this album is hard rock. Take Deep Purple and some Quartermass. Add some more progressive rock and you get this album.

The music is hard and aggressive throughout. The music is never heavy metal though. It is still 1970s hard rock.

The vocals are OK and the drums are hyper active and technical. Most of the music is indeed very technical.

The result is a decent enough album which fans of hard rock will lap up.
