The fifth album from this one-man-band from Austria.
Benjamin Kantschieder does the computers, guitars, bass and vocals here.
The previous two Kanoi albums I reviewed was pretty horrible. I had no other expectations to Moonglow that this too was a horrible album.
I got a positive surprise.
The music on this forty minutes long album is bluesy krautrock.
The vocals are reasonably good and ditto for the sound.
The guitars too are good and they have a dirty sound. A suitably dirty sound which suits the music and genre.
Most of this album is melodic and still intelligently crafted. There are some ambient stuff here too and that is a minus.
The overall quality is somewhere between decent and good.
This is an album well worth checking out.
