The sixth and final album from this band from Norway.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
This is the final album from this band. A band who I now have included in my top 5 of the best ever bands from Norway. Top 3, actually.
Gudny Aspaas has returned again and the music is more jazzy than before. It is also pretty much mid-tempo.
The music is in short laidback vocals based jazz/fusion. Gudny's vocals fits this genre almost perfectly as her voice is easier on the ear and covers a pretty big range.
The rest of the band does a good job and there is some good guitars and keyboards solos here.
The music is pretty good, but Gudny's vocals adds something extra and elevates this album to a new, higher level.
The band is gigging 3-4 times a year with Gudny as the vocalist and their gigs is popular and well worth checking out. Ruphus deserve a lot of respect and has got my full respect. Get all their six albums.
